FAQS: Team 2027
Senior Team 2027 FAQ
Everything You’ve Been Wondering
After sharing the details about Senior Team 2027, I realized there are a few questions that come up almost every time families are considering joining. I wanted to answer them all in one place — clearly and honestly — so nothing feels confusing or unanswered.
What exactly is Senior Team 2027?
Senior Team 2027 is a year-long senior experience for the Class of 2027. It’s designed to celebrate this season gradually, rather than rushing everything into one session.
Team members are photographed throughout the year in a mix of group and individual settings, creating a meaningful collection of images while building confidence and connection along the way.
This is not a modeling program. It’s an experience — thoughtful, fun, and low-pressure.
Who is Senior Team 2027 for?
Do seniors have to attend every team session?
No.
Attendance is always encouraged but never required. I know how busy high school schedules can be, and this experience is designed to fit into real family life — not add stress.
Seniors are welcome to attend as many sessions as they’re able.
How many team sessions are included?
Is there a cost to be on the team?
Why is booking a senior session required?
There is no separate fee to join Team 2027.
However, because this is an exclusive experience, team members commit to completing their senior photography session with Kim Graves Photography.
As a thank-you for joining the team, families receive $100 off their senior session at the time of booking.
Team 2027 is designed to feel cohesive and intentional — from team sessions through senior portraits. Having team members complete their senior session with me allows the full experience to flow naturally and ensures consistency in both experience and imagery.
This also helps keep the team small, focused, and well supported.
Team 2027 is intentionally capped at 15 seniors.
Keeping the group small allows for:
A more personal experience
Better communication
Thoughtful planning
A supportive group dynamic
Once the team is full, applications will close.
How many seniors are on the team?
How does the application process work?
What about parents — will we be kept in the loop?
Is there a social media requirement?
What makes Team 2027 different from a regular senior session?
What if we’re interested but still unsure?
Team 2027 is a great fit for seniors who:
Enjoy being part of a group
Want a relaxed, supportive photo experience
Value connection over perfection
Are excited to celebrate this season in a meaningful way
There’s no specific “look” or personality required — just openness to the experience.
Team 2027 members receive at least six complimentary, exclusive team sessions throughout the year. These include a mix of:
Group photos
Individual portraits during team sessions
Seasonal and creative shoots
Each session is thoughtfully planned and communicated in advance.
Families complete a short application questionnaire to get started.
Everyone who applies is accepted until the team reaches capacity. Once the team is full, applications will close.
After applying:
I’ll connect with parents for a quick touch-base call
We’ll go over the experience and answer questions
Senior session booking comes next
Absolutely.
Parents can expect:
Clear communication about upcoming team sessions
Advance notice of dates and locations
Planning guidance and reminders
Easy access to reach out with questions at any time
A calm, organized experience for families is very important to me.
Team members are encouraged — but never pressured — to:
Share images from their sessions
Tag Kim Graves Photography
Represent the brand in a positive, respectful way
This is meant to feel natural and fun, not like an obligation.
A traditional senior session captures one moment in time.
Team 2027 captures a season.
It allows seniors to:
Grow into the experience
Be photographed in different settings and seasons
Build confidence over time
Create a richer, more meaningful collection of images
That’s completely okay.
If you’re on the fence or just have questions, I’m always happy to talk things through. There’s no pressure to decide immediately — my goal is simply to make sure Team 2027 feels like a great fit for your family.
